Mughlai Indian Cuisine

I ordered the Mughlai special. First of all compared to other restaurants in the Murray Hill/gramercy area the prices are amazing for the amount of food I got! Usually at other Indian restaurants I receive small plastic boxes of whatever I order and I usually finish it. The mughlai special comes w lots of rice and vindaloo (which is what I ordered) and it comes w an appetizer and naan. Everything arrived piping hot and it tasted very fresh and delicious for having ordered it at 9:30 PM. I'm picky with my take out food as I don't order it much but I will definitely ordering from Mughlai again!

The owner was so nice! We ordered a delivery to pick up, it was ready in record time about 20 minutes on a busy Saturday night. We were really late stuck in traffic. And they kept the food hot :) they also gave us a free dessert. We ordered chicken Jalfrazi and chicken curry both were super delicious. And I'm from England where curry is almost the national dish.

WOW!! This place is delicious & fresh. My fiend asked for "not-too spicy" and she said it was just right. I LOVE spice, so I asked them to go to town. It was delicious (not just hot but flavorful) and I got that full body heat that you're supposed to get with good Indian food.

SOOOO impressed!!! The food arrived REALLY early and it was phenomenal!! I've tried so many restaurants in Curry Hill and this one is definitely the best one!!!! Also, really generous portions for the price. Absolutely for sure will order again!!!!

Will be ordering from here again. The best Indian food I've had since India! Very flavorful, and generous portion sizes. The restaurant was very very nice and offered us plates and utensils. Will be our go-to from now on!

Ordered a couple of times and food has been great both times. Particularly, I ordered the Mughlai Chicken Curry, which really smacked of home (my father claims our family is descended from the Mughals :). I'm not sure if that's true, but the flavors and spices were there, and definitely not the flatter, monotone chicken curries you get from some other Indian restaurants.

The second time, I ordered the Dum Biryiani, which was also very good.

Portions were also very acceptable. This is a great addition to Indian food in the area.

I am Indian. I do not work for this restaurant, nor do I know anyone who does. Ignore all other reviews. This. Is. The. Best. Indian. Food. In. Manhattan. It’s better than Bukhara in New Delhi. (If you know, then you KNOW what I mean). This is my only review on Seamless. I’ve tried almost every Indian restaurant in NYC. This was so much better than anything else it’s almost absurd. AND I don’t feel sick or sleepy after. I just found my favorite restaurant.

They have messed up my order once, but they were super nice and apologetic about it. Either they don't like giving out chutney with the nan or they ignore requests for chutney when you put it in the comments, I'm not sure but don't expect it. I think they want you buy it separately which most other restaurants don't make you do with you buy nan. Still, I like their food so I order here regularly.

Oh my gosh! This place is amazing!!! I got the special of appetizer, entree, and naan. The Kachori chaat was AWESOME (never had it before, so aromatic and crunchy and great), the lamb saagwala was amazing (spinach was creamy and a little spicy - just the way I like it, hate when it's bland) and the naan was STILL HOT! It came in 20 minutes! Definitely ordering from here again!!!

The food here is incredibly delicious and they are fast and courteous. They honored our special requests/customizations and our orders are always correct, and arrive piping hot. The food is packaged in microwave-safe containers and we haven't had anything arrive leaky or spilled. We've ordered from here several times now and they're officially on the rotation for good!
